Liza has always loved to draw, looking to nature for inspiration and daydreaming. She loves to inspire others, reminding them of the simple joys in life, hidden messages and beauty in everything around us.
Liza completed an Architectural degree with Honours and worked fulltime in the industry for 12 years. She and husband Michael Baker also an Architect, are partners in their architectural practice Zenibaker Architects.
Upon starting a family in 2008, Liza began to seek a more balanced life between work, family and friends and found herself on a journey of discovering her true essence and meaning in life. This has led her back to her childhood love of art and drawing. She has a new found joy in the freedom and outpouring of expression and a love that she feels when painting and drawing. She has found a new path in life and now works as an artist / illustrator.
Liza’s work is an exploration of nature, form, pattern and colour. She sells original paintings and limited edition prints.
